Dewa Trust Foundation: Empowering Through Education
Founded in 2016, Dewa Trust Foundation is a UK-based charity focused on aiding Afghan communities impacted by conflict. Initially providing general aid, we shifted to educating Afghan girls amid political changes. Our main initiative, the “Afghan Girls Education Project,” aims to maintain historical knowledge and integrate modern technologies into education.
Operating in Kabul and Nangarhar, we offer both online and community-based educational models. Our online platform delivers education digitally, and our community schools utilize local spaces for safe learning environments. Each model serves 30 students, ensuring accessible, quality education.
Dewa Trust envisions a future where Afghan women are self-reliant and have access to healthcare. Registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales (No. 1187055), we commit to transparency and aim to expand our services throughout Afghanistan, empowering girls to determine their futures.
